At The International School of Texas, every student is part of something bigger—our Trailblazer House System. Inspired by world-changing trailblazers, the House System fosters belonging, teamwork, and school spirit while encouraging students to live out IST’s values each day.
Upon joining IST, each student and their family are welcomed into one of our four houses:

Houses earn points year-round by demonstrating the IB Learner Profile and putting IST’s core values—Respect, Integrity, Confidence, Intellect, and Service—into action. These points add up to the coveted House Cup, awarded annually in a celebration of achievement and school spirit.
