Charissa Bates serves as IST’s Admissions and Marketing Director since 2019. In all, more than 14 years have been dedicated to admissions for private schools.

Charissa enjoys getting to know the children and their families, seeing them laugh and enjoy learning. When she asks a student about IST and they say they love being here, and enjoy everything about it, it makes her smile because she says we have made an impact on their lives.

A little know fact about Charissa is that her father is Native American of the Cherokees, making Charissa a Tribal Member of the Cherokee Indians.
She attended the University of Oklahoma and enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, yoga and spending time with her husband Jason, their three daughters, Elizabeth, Maddie, Jillian, and two grandsons.
