Ms. Bridges is passionate about global education and helping every child discover a love of learning. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Baylor University and a master’s degree in International Education (International Baccalaureate) from The University of Melbourne. An ESL-certified educator, she has taught multiple grades in Lewisville ISD and at IST, where she has taught both Grade 3 and now Grade 2.
Her commitment to expanding educational opportunities extends well beyond the classroom. Ms. Bridges founded PinK Girl, a tutoring program in Ethiopia that supports girls in graduating from high school and pursuing higher education. She has also provided professional development for educators in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, reflecting her dedication to empowering teachers and students around the world. She is known for creating unique, engaging lessons that spark curiosity and inspire her students to think creatively.
Outside of school, Ms. Bridges enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her beloved dogs, and meeting people from different cultures. Students also know her for the classroom porch goose that has become a beloved part of her classroom community. She believes that meaningful relationships, curiosity, and global perspectives help students become compassionate, lifelong learners.
