Explore Our Academics
Early Childhood
Sparking joy and curiosity in a close-knit community. Our youngest learners explore through play-based, inquiry-led activities grounded in the IB framework, building the social-emotional and academic foundations for a lifetime of learning.
Lower School
Supporting and challenging every learner, every step of the way. Students engage in transdisciplinary units of inquiry, develop fluency in Spanish and Mandarin, and build problem-solving skills through Singapore Math and hands-on STEM.
Middle School
Igniting a passion for lifelong learning and service. Students take greater ownership of their education, explore interdisciplinary connections, and develop the critical thinking and self-reflection skills that prepare them for the rigor of Upper School.
Upper School
Preparing lifelong leaders for college and the real world. A rigorous, internationally recognized IB curriculum emphasizes depth of study, research skills, and community service, while preparing students for success at universities worldwide.
Portrait of a Graduate
At The International School of Texas, our Portrait of a Graduate is grounded in the International Baccalaureate Learner Profile and shaped by our mission to develop knowledgeable, compassionate, and globally minded students. Through the IB continuum and Diploma Programme, students cultivate the self-knowledge, character, and skills needed to thrive in an interconnected world. IST graduates emerge as servant leaders who use their strengths to serve others, community builders who foster meaningful relationships, global citizens who embrace diverse perspectives and cultures, and classically liberal thinkers who pursue truth, think critically, and form well-reasoned conclusions. As service-oriented problem solvers, they are prepared to lead lives of purpose, impact, and lifelong learning.
