Yes. We encourage families to experience IST in person. We offer campus tours, class visit days, open house events, online information sessions, and parent coffees. Schedule a visit to see our campus and community firsthand.

We are located at 15506-C TX-71, Bee Cave (Austin), TX. Our office is open Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.

IST maintains small class sizes so every student is known, supported, and challenged.

For 2026–2027 [confirm year/rates], tuition is approximately: Early Childhood (Junior PreK–Kindergarten) $26,250; Lower School (Grades 1–5) $26,500; Middle School (Grades 6–8) $28,250; Upper School (Grades 9–12) $29,400. Families may pay tuition annually, semi-annually (three payments), or monthly (ten installments).

Yes. We are committed to making an IST education accessible and offer need-based financial aid through Clarity, a third-party assessment platform. The process considers family income, number of dependents, medical expenses, and other factors. Parent Financial Statements require IRS verification (3–5 business days). Yes. IST has elected to participate and will accept funds on behalf of families who receive state approval. The application and funding process is managed entirely by the State of Texas — families must apply directly at educationfreedom.texas.gov. Estimated awards are approximately $10,000 per child (up to $30,000 for students with a documented disability and current IEP). Acceptance into TEFA does not guarantee admission or enrollment at IST.

Yes. IST offers the full IB Continuum — the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). IST received DP authorization in February 2026 and is the first independent, secular PK-12 school in the Austin area to offer the full IB Continuum.

Every IST student studies both Spanish and Mandarin beginning in early childhood, graduating with years of language study and the cultural fluency to connect across borders.

Life at IST goes beyond the classroom. Students can choose from 35+ clubs, teams, and organizations, take part in our Trailblazer House System, and join signature traditions and experiential travel through our Trip Week program (Grades 2–12).

Our community represents over 40 nationalities and 24+ native languages — diversity is part of our everyday reality.
