Announcing IST TOGETHER!
Our COVID-19 Response Plan for 2020-21 | Feb 01, 2021
Dear IST Families,
It is with a great deal of optimism that I share with you that the Board of Trustees voted to approve “IST Together” — our comprehensive plan to provide safe in-person learning at IST (with a remote learning option) for the 2020-21 school year.
The hallmark of an IST education is the interaction, collaboration, and shared dynamic energy that occurs in our classrooms. It is our top priority to provide a safe environment on campus for our students to grow and thrive as learners and leaders. With that in mind, we have developed IST Together, which includes extensive health and safety protocols based on guidance from top experts in the fields of pediatrics, public health, and education. We are continually revising and updating IST Together to reflect changing circumstances and guidance. The latest version of our reopening plan may always be downloaded using the link below.
As we continue to navigate our way through this pandemic, I would like to reiterate that this is a collective effort. For IST Together to be successful, we must collectively commit to protecting the health of our IST community. I have seen how our existing families have come together to successfully reopen our school for in-person learning this past September.
As we strive as a community to get through these next few challenging months, we sincerely ask you to do your best to safeguard your family from exposure, knowing that our shared safety as a community is a responsibility that we all share. And, I have no doubt that the IST community will rise to the occasion.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Go, IST Trailblazers!
