The International School of Texas (IST) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. IST is governed by a Board of Trustees, the members of which volunteer their time and expertise to provide strategic leadership to ensure IST’s fulfillment of its mission and vision. IST Trustees work to ensure responsible governance and healthy growth of our community while empowering IST’s leadership team to manage administration and operations.
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive education that is inquiry-based and internationally-minded, enabling children to become lifelong learners; and for IST students to be knowledgeable, empathetic, and caring global citizens, inspired to take action and solve problems for the betterment of themselves, others, and the world around them.
